On September 4, 2026, the Funded Trading Commission (IFTC) received a trader complaint concerning Blue Guardian.

According to the information and supporting documentation submitted by the complainant, the dispute relates to the termination or restriction of a funded trading account.

The documentation provided to IFTC indicates that Blue Guardian informed the trader that an account had been flagged for alleged “device sharing.”

The trader disputes this conclusion and has requested further clarification regarding the evidence used to make this determination.

At this stage, IFTC has not independently verified the allegations made by either party.

It is therefore important to emphasize that the existence of a complaint does not constitute evidence of misconduct by Blue Guardian, nor does it establish that the trader’s claims are correct.

Why IFTC Cannot Formally Review This Case

Blue Guardian is not currently listed with the Funded Trading Commission.

As a result, IFTC does not currently have an established relationship or review framework with the firm that would allow our team to formally investigate the matter, request information from both parties, compare the available evidence and attempt to facilitate a neutral resolution.

For this reason, this particular complaint cannot currently proceed through the complete IFTC review process.

The complaint will nevertheless remain recorded in our system as part of our industry monitoring activities.

An Invitation to Blue Guardian

IFTC invites Blue Guardian to contact the Funded Trading Commission and consider applying to become a listed firm.

Being listed would allow our team to conduct an independent review of the company, its operating model, trader rules, dispute procedures and other relevant information.

It would also establish a communication channel that could help IFTC review future complaints more effectively and hear both sides of a dispute before reaching any conclusion.

Blue Guardian is welcome to contact IFTC regarding this specific case and provide any information or clarification it considers relevant.

If the firm chooses to engage with IFTC, our team remains available to review the situation impartially.

Why Prop Firms Should Consider Being Listed

The proprietary trading industry continues to grow rapidly, and disputes between traders and firms are inevitable.

Account closures, payout disputes, trading-rule interpretations, device-sharing allegations, KYC issues and prohibited-strategy cases can sometimes involve information that is not available to the public.

This is precisely where an independent third party can be useful.

IFTC aims to provide a neutral point of contact between traders and proprietary trading firms.

Our objective is not to automatically defend traders or automatically defend firms.

Our role is to encourage transparency, review available information and help both sides communicate when disputes arise.

A complaint should never automatically mean that a prop firm has acted improperly.

Equally, a decision made by a prop firm should not automatically prevent a trader from requesting an independent review.

There are two sides to every dispute, and meaningful industry standards require both sides to be heard.

Building a More Transparent Prop Trading Industry

IFTC encourages proprietary trading firms operating internationally to apply for listing and participate in the development of greater transparency across the industry.

A more structured relationship between traders, firms and independent industry organizations can help legitimate businesses differentiate themselves while providing traders with clearer channels when disagreements occur.

The Funded Trading Commission remains open to communication from both the complainant and Blue Guardian regarding this matter.

IFTC is an independent private industry initiative and is not a government regulator or financial supervisory authority.
