On 1 September 2026, the International Funded Trading Commission (IFTC) expanded its public Prop Firm Registry following several weeks of independent review and study of additional firms operating within the international proprietary trading industry.
The expansion adds seven proprietary trading firms to the registry with Accredited status, reflecting IFTC’s continuing effort to develop a structured, transparent and independently reviewable public record of companies active in the prop trading sector.
A Selective Review Process
IFTC does not automatically add every company operating in the proprietary trading sector to its registry. Before a firm is included, IFTC examines publicly available and independently reviewable information relating to areas such as:
- corporate identity and identifiable business presence;
- operating history;
- business model;
- transparency of trader-facing information;
- evaluation program structure;
- publicly available trading rules and conditions;
- general operational track record;
- international presence where applicable.
This review is intended to support a more informed public registry and to contribute to greater transparency for traders researching prop firm certification and prop firm verification options. It does not constitute a regulatory audit or a government-supervised examination.
Newly Added Firms
The following proprietary trading firms have now been added to the IFTC Registry with Accredited status:
- FundedNext — IFTC-238/26. International proprietary trading firm offering structured trader evaluation programs and simulated funded trading opportunities.
- FundingPips — IFTC-239/26. International proprietary trading brand offering evaluation programs and simulated funded trading opportunities across several program structures.
- The5ers — IFTC-240/26. Established proprietary trading firm with a long-standing presence in the international prop trading industry.
- Alpha Capital Group — IFTC-241/26. International proprietary trading company providing structured evaluation programs to traders.
- My Funded Futures — IFTC-242/26. Proprietary trading firm specializing in futures trading evaluation and simulated funded trading programs.
- Tradeify — IFTC-243/26. Futures-focused proprietary trading firm providing traders with access to structured evaluation and funded trading programs.
- E8 Markets — IFTC-244/26. International proprietary trading brand offering structured evaluation programs and simulated funded trading opportunities.
These firms join the companies already present in the IFTC Registry, including FTMO, Topstep, Apex Trader Funding and Darwinex Zero.
Several Weeks of Review Before Registry Inclusion
The addition of these firms follows several weeks of research and review by IFTC.
The objective is not to create the largest possible directory of prop firms, but to maintain a more selective and structured public registry. The proprietary trading industry has expanded rapidly internationally, and traders increasingly need simple ways to identify companies, understand who operates them, review their business model and access standardized information.
IFTC therefore favors quality and documented information over the number of firms listed. Each independent prop firm review is intended to help traders distinguish between companies that have provided sufficient publicly reviewable information and those that have not yet met the registry’s standards.
Financial Commission for Prop Firms: The Growing Role of Independent Industry Standards
Searches such as “Financial Commission for Prop Firms”, “Financial Commission prop firm certification” and “prop firm certification” reflect growing interest among traders in independent industry standards for proprietary trading firms.
The Funded Trading Commission (IFTC) is an independent private initiative specifically focused on the proprietary trading industry. It is not affiliated with, operated by or part of any other organization that may use the words “Financial Commission” in its name.
Independent commissions and industry frameworks can contribute to greater transparency by creating public registries, reviewing publicly available company information and establishing common standards. However, such organizations are not financial regulators unless explicitly authorized as such by the relevant government authority.
IFTC’s role is educational and informational: to help traders understand the difference between certified prop firms, accredited prop firms and regulated financial institutions, and to encourage prop firms to operate with greater transparency.
What “Accredited” Means
IFTC Accredited status means that, as of the review and certification date, the firm met the standards required for inclusion and Accredited status within the IFTC framework.
Accreditation:
- is not a financial-services license;
- is not regulatory approval;
- is not government authorization;
- does not guarantee future payouts;
- does not guarantee the future conduct or solvency of a company;
- does not eliminate trading or counterparty risks.
IFTC may review the status of a listed firm if significant new information becomes available. Traders should always conduct their own due diligence before purchasing a challenge or entering into any arrangement with a proprietary trading firm.
Registry Expansion and Next Steps
These seven firms join the companies already present in the IFTC Registry. Additional proprietary trading firms may be reviewed and added in the future as IFTC continues developing its coverage of the international prop trading industry.
Traders can verify the current status of any firm, review its publicly available information and access its dedicated IFTC profile through the registry.
IFTC is an independent private organisation focused on the proprietary trading industry. It is not a financial regulator, government authority or affiliate of any other commission. An IFTC listing does not constitute regulatory approval or a guarantee of future performance.
